Hawaii Passage Day 1

Morning Report from Estelle

Received this morning via satellite email.

Motor off 9am today only 4 knots of wind – after a bit we find ourselves holding steady around 10knots wind- boat speed an optimistic 5knots- taking 3 hour watches- W-6 to 9, Rob 9- 12 , Greg 12-3 and El Capitán 3 to 6. Not much action leaving la Paz, a few turtles sunning themselves and a couple flyin mantas.

Rob cooked first dinner of chicken tostadas- total yum- working on our routines- taking daily temps and logging with hopes of no quarantine in Hilo- weathers beautiful, bit overcast
